You will discover how today’s most exciting games work and why they’re so engaging. From strategy and critical thinking to storytelling and collaboration, you’ll learn the mechanics behind games that are as fun to think about as they are to play.

Daily Schedule

9:00–9:30 AM – Welcome & Warm-Up

  • Brief discussion about the day’s featured game and its mechanics.
  • Quick icebreaker activity or mini-game to get participants energized.

9:30–11:00 AM – Gameplay Session 1

  • Introduction to the day’s featured game (rules explanation, strategy tips).
    Playthroughs with small groups led by Michael and assistants.

11:00–11:15 AM – Break

  • Snacks and informal conversations about the morning’s games.

11:15 AM–12:15 PM – Magic: The Gathering Play

  • Structured play sessions (e.g., learning deck-building, strategies, or casual games).

12:15–1:00 PM – Lunch

  • Participants bring their own lunch.

1:00–2:30 PM – Gameplay Session 2

  • Focused on advanced strategies or alternate versions of the featured game.

2:30–3:15 PM – Magic: The Gathering Play

  • Friendly matches or themed challenges (e.g., draft, commander).

3:15–3:30 PM – Closing & Preview

  • Wrap-up of the day’s activities.
  • Brief preview of the next day’s featured game.
